Mental Health Services for Children and Adolescents
Description of Services: Provides acute treatment to children and adolescents up to age of 18 who are experiencing:

  • acute psychiatric symptoms
  • do not need require more intensive services, such as overnight admission to hospital

Depending on the patient's needs, an on-site school program may also be arranged as part of the treatment plan

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: For children, adolescents and adults facing mental health and addictions challenges
Application: Access through the Child and Adolescent Inpatient Unit and/or upon referral by child psychiatrist
